Research group focus:
I have highly interdisciplinary profile and group (Peptoid Structure Design) where we continuously work on dissecting the potential of novel peptidomimetics called peptoids.
Our research activities evolve around optimization of synthetic protocols for synthesis of peptidomimetics (e.g peptoids), characterizing secondary structures (e.g. peptoid folding into nanosheets) and assessment of microbiological activities of single peptoid monomers through proteomics as well as characterizing peptoid nanostructures.
Our primary goal is to uncover structure-activity relationships and investigate the biological applications of these novel molecules.
